The academic level of our courses ranges from junior high or high school to college level. Courses are designed for students who have some background in Bible study. Students who are just beginning a serious study of the Bible, or who are not yet in their teen years, are advised to complete our free introductory Home Bible Courses before attempting any course from the Internet Bible Academy (see the link at the bottom of this page).
Our courses present many unique and distinctive views that may be new to members of many denominations. This is not said to discourage anyone from taking our courses. However, we believe students should know what views they may expect to find in our courses, so we encourage you before enrolling to read our list of beliefs (see the link on our home page).
* Christians who have some knowledge of Scripture and want a deeper knowledge.
* Bible students who are interested in becoming Bible teachers, preachers, or elders.
* Families (including teenagers) who want to grow in Bible knowledge together.
* Home-schooling families with students in junior high school or higher.
* Students who have completed our free Home Bible Courses and want to know more.
* Anyone who has studied the Bible at some length and wants to study further, either alone, with a friend(s), or with a family member(s).
1xx (numbers beginning with 1) are "introductory" courses. They are generally suitable for people from their early teens (junior high) and up. We strongly advise new students to take at least one of these basic courses before moving to any higher numbered course. We also advise new Bible students to take one of our free home study courses before attempting even a 1xx course.
2xx (numbers beginning with 2) are "intermediate" courses. They are generally more difficult than 1xx courses, but not as difficult as higher-numbered courses. These may be considered equivalent to basic high school level courses. Students are urged to successfully complete at least one 1xx course before attempting a 2xx course.
3xx (numbers beginning with 3) are "advanced" courses. They are more difficult than 2xx courses, and may be considered equivalent to upper level high school courses. Students generally should complete at least one 2xx course before attempting a 3xx course.
4xx (numbers beginning with 4) are our most "difficult" courses, and may be considered equivalent to college level courses. Students should generally not attempt any 4xx course till they have successfully completed at least one 3xx course.
